Is it worth it? I have seen 2 videos of it on YouTube, but I'm still not sure, what do you guys think?

I've got it, and I freaking loved it. Think of it as a zombie-themed Fallout (though with slightly less freedom). It's a zombie game, with RPG elements such as leveling up, quests, finding gear, upgrading gear, etc. When I finished the game, I had 25 hours played time, so it's not that short either.

Sure, it has some flaws, but all games do. I'd definitely recommend it.

Biggest problem I had with it, however, was that the character "classes" were locked to specific characters. For example, Logan was the throwing specialist, Sam B the blunt weapon specialist, etc. It'd have been even more awesome if you could create your own character.

It's a bit brutal, though. Blood, gore, severed limbs, crushed skulls, decapitations, zombies set on fire then hit in the face with a broomstick, etc.

Well Deep Silver (The company that made the game.) released a patch recently for some of the bugs. The best thing about the patch is that they got the multiplayer (Not the one with friends, the one with strangers.) running. I could play with my friend over Xbox LIVE before the Patch, but I couldn't join anybody else's game from the rather easy to use menu that pops up for multiplayer.

On to the game itself. When I'm playing with another person (or 3), I have a lot of fun. The addition of cars that you can drive is pretty cool. Who doesn't like to run over zombies? What I don't like is the rate at how fast my weapons break. (Yes, weapons break after a certain amount of use in that game.) However, there are Work/Upgrade/Create benches. They are actually rather cheap compared to how much money, and junk you can sell that you find while on your adventures.

While playing by myself, it loses some of the fun. I strongly recommend multiplayer.

I had that problem for the first three levels or so. You just need to make sure you get at least two weapons with high durability, upgrade them, use them against the hordes of weak zombies, then maybe keep another deadlier, fragile weapon to use against the stronger ones (unless you can get a weapon with damage and durability)

Also, both the sharp weapons specialist and blunt weapons specialist can get skills to increase the durability of weapons by quite a lot. Not sure about the other two.

Anyways, my point is, if your weapons break too easily, perhaps you've just chosen the wrong weapons, or are using the wrong ones at the wrong time. I made the mistake of focusing almost entirely on the damage and force stats for determining which weapons to use in the beginning, and only later realized how important it was to have a few durable weapons as well.

Still, you have 12 inventory slots, so if you run out of weapons any time after act I, you've got no one to blame but yourself.

While playing by myself, it loses some of the fun. I strongly recommend multiplayer.

I actually haven't tried multi-player yet, I like to finish the story single-player before I do so, just so I can enjoy it story-wise and learn the game at my own pace (even if the story in this game wasn't all that good (the rest of the game was though)). Anyways, I'd like to add that, though I don't know how much fun the multi-player mode is, I had a blast player single-player as well, so if you don't want to play online, don't let the quote discourage you from buying it.
