My understanding is that cancer cells roam in your blood until they can find an area to infect, making a tumor.

More often it's the other way round, the cancer cells in the blood, the metastases, came from a tumor that developed in the tissue. This method would really be a good thing since metastases are dangerous as they spread the cancer to other locations (the cells can get out of the blood and make a new tumor). If you can avoid this, it's already a great thing. But it doesn't cure the already established tumors, and there are several types of cancer, some of which who don't release metastases.

Thanks Mage(or would you prefer it to be shortened to Gray or Wolf?).

Most people around here shorten it to Mage so that's fine.
