I've recently seen a lot of unhealthy favourites and the last fruit thread (i believe) was a year ago.

So what's your favourite fruit?

Mine is mangooooo.

I think that the apple is my favorite fruit, although oranges, grapes, and bananas are pretty good to.

I totally agree with you, except it is spelled: pineapple.

I love all kinds of fruits. Refreshing ones like apples, berries, oranges, and most of all melons.

Or I go for fruits that fill me up. Like Durians.

Eh, what do you make of the odor? Some people think it's fragrant; others repulsive.

I can't really remember what a durian smells like.

I'm Singaporean remember? Durians and coconuts rain down haha.

Strange, I don't think of the odor much. Maybe because I usually buy them in boxes, pre extracted. I just eat it.

The most extreme and beautiful description of a durian I've heard was by Alfred Russell Wallace. The man must have been mad though.

The five cells are silky-white within, and are filled with a mass of firm, cream-coloured pulp, containing about three seeds each. This pulp is the edible part, and its consistence and flavour are indescribable. A rich custard highly flavoured with almonds gives the best general idea of it, but there are occasional wafts of flavour that call to mind cream-cheese, onion-sauce, sherry-wine, and other incongruous dishes. Then there is a rich glutinous smoothness in the pulp which nothing else possesses, but which adds to its delicacy. It is neither acid nor sweet nor juicy; yet it wants neither of these qualities, for it is in itself perfect. It produces no nausea or other bad effect, and the more you eat of it the less you feel inclined to stop. In fact, to eat Durians is a new sensation worth a voyage to the East to experience. ... as producing a food of the most exquisite flavour it is unsurpassed.
Hm... anyone here ever felt odd after eating an apple with an empty stomach?
There's something wrong with you I fear.
Not really. I don't, eh... throw up. Yet I feel strange. My stomach does, specifically.

yeah, you're gonna die.

That's why your post got deleted...

I also like cranberry juice

My grandmother drinks it because it's good to the kidneys, I think. I don't like it very much though.

My favorite fruit is the strawberry, but I don't eat it so often. I also like oranges and blackberries.
