I got an ArmorGames account in 2008, used it for a few months then didn't log in for like two years, and then came back, so nope, i don't agree. They could always come back.
Plus, everyone will be reset to zero when AG3 launches anyways, right?
Although it would free up username space, and server space (?)
Well, they won't delete the accounts because they need records of the data, so the username is still considered taken, and the actual profile takes up so little data that it doesn't make the slightest difference deleting them.
Title is longer than OP, shorten titles in the future. But anyways, like others above said, you never know if they'll come back. I personally think it shouldn't happen.
What if someone leaves their account logged in all the time instead of logging off when they wouldnt come back? A large portion would thus be avoiding this anyways. Plus, say you do get rid of them for not "logging in/off" for along time, well i dont ever log out, so it would see "Hasnt logged in or out for 1 year" *delet*
That is true. Never delete accounts just because they haven't played in a while.
That's right, you shouldn't do that because player can always come back.
It's been suggested a whole bunch of times, and Cormyn has said no each and every time.
It's been denied because it doesn't seem to be fair because users can always come back.

What would deleting accounts that haven't been used for over a year do for Armor Games? I (as other frequent users) created my account, used it for a few days, and forgot about it for almost 7-8 months. Some of these 1+ year old, inactive users, may do the same thing. Deleting the accounts would not be fair to them.
The amount of "server space" it would free up would be negligible. Plus, since users cannot see when someone last logged in, all you see is when they became a member, how do you know they're not just an active gamer who chooses not to participate in the forums or commenting?
We've already stated in the AG3 forum that we intend to migrate ALL user accounts to AG3, not just the recently-active users.
