My robot would be a huge loveable giant. Who will sadly have to leave me as soon as we make a connection to save me from a nuclear missile. Sound familiar?

Mine would be called Sing-bot 2000 I'd have him as a personal Jukebox and I can be the envy of my friends. It'll also have a personal defense system. How that works is I have a button to turn Sing-Bot into a shelf. When an intruder comes in without my authorization(unless he/she is an official), he/she will be zapped by a laser and law officials will be alerted.

I'd probably use a robot to organize my stuff and be a body guard.
It could organize my stuff so that I wouldn't have to do it myself (and waste time) and protect me if I ever needed it (no, I don't get shoved into lockers or dunked in a toilet bowl if you were wondering...)
