I usually listen to any kind of music, though I don't really like electronic music.

rock, punk rock, hard rock

good charlotte, blink182, Three days grace, green day, rise against ect.

Excuse me, but if you were referring to Green Day and Blink 182 as punk rock, you would be wrong. Well, mostly wrong. They are pop-punk rock or something like that. They said that when they went on the Pop Disater tour and when they kept the video diary thing. Kinda obvious. It's kinda everywhere :S

I like Green Day, Blink 182 (well duh), Marilyn Manson, Panic At The Disco, sometimes The Killers, uhhh Dope sometimes, and a variety of other things.

They do fit under punk rock. Blink-182 a little less than Green Day, but still they both fit under the category. If you were to listen to some of there older stuff and their non-mainstream stuff, there is obvious punk rock. Plus, even the stuff they still make can be considered punk rock, but everyone's view on music is different I suppose. It's all opinion, no fact.

I didn't say that they weren't punk rock. They are. But it's been everywhere that they are a bit different than punk rock. They have definitely punk lyrics and attitudes and all, but even back on Gilman it took Green Day a while for them to be accepted. They have slightly pop cords, that it all that I was trying to say.

Yes, they are indeed punk rock, but, in a way, a slightly different style of punk rock. And yes, I have heard almost everything from 39/smooth to 21 Century Breakdown, and am completely aware about the difference.

My top 3 favorite genres would have to be: Metal, Hard Rock, and Nu-Metal.

Some examples would be, Pantera, Metallica, Megadeth, Killswitch Engaged, etc, etc.

I figured I'd correct this before someone comes along later and complains about my misspelling.

Some songs I'd recommend from each of the bands I've said above would be some mainstream ones...

Pantera: Cowboys From Hell, Cemetery Gates
Metallica: Fade To Black, Master Of Puppets
Killswitch Engage: My Curse, Holy Diver (Cover)
