Two music websites (youtube is not a general music website, but there is a lot of music, GrooveShark is only music). What do u use most? I use uTube mostly!
I use YouTube. Never have heard of GrooveShark before.
That's because they're not really the same thing. One's for sharing videos, one's for streaming music.
It's like comparing a newpaper and a picture of a cat, because newspapers have pictures in them too. If you compare the number of people who read the newspapers to the number of people who looked at the picture of the cat, you're going to include all the people who don't read newspapers only to look at pictures.
I love bad examples
Anyways, the reason why this fails
GrooveShark has about a half million users a month. youtube has about 100 million users a month.
is because most people use YouTube to look at videos, not listen to music. In Grooveshark, you can create playlists and have them play in the background while you do other stuff, like a music player except you don't have to own the music.
Anyways, I use Spotify myself, it's like Grooveshark only more organized and, well, good, but a bit less free (as in you gotta pay for it to be even remotely useful).
Music on Youtube is uploaded by users, so it can be dodgy. grooveshark is professional and trusted, they have a bigger selection of music as well so my vote goes for YouTube.
