A US agency used tax dollars to buy weapons which were deliberately sold to illegal buyers and drug smugglers. They were hoping to trace the guns to cartel leaders in Mexico. Unfortunately, those guns are being used in violent crimes. Your thoughts?
Those guns aren't even being sold, they're being deliberately "lost" from border warehouses. Also, it is likely that the whole "trace the weapons" thing, which is a stupid plan to start with, is just a smokescreen for the real goal. There is a growing consensus that the real plan is to use these guns to cause an even bigger increase in violent crime along the border, and then use that to push through a ban on perfectly legal and Constitutionally protected assault weapons (i.e. M-16s, M-4s, AK-47s, etc.). This is just another example of the current corrupt administration bedding down with our enemies to achieve its goal of destroying the Constitution and the nation.
Gun laws are BS anyways. I hope they lose them all.
Roger that. The Second Amendment to the U.S. Constitution is the only gun law that is truly legitimate.
I
agree That this needs serious investigation, something we may not get until after next november.
True. But even after the election, it will take awhile for the effects of the new administration to "ripple" through to the (in)Justice Department and hopefully cut away some of the dead-headed corruption like "fast and Furious" that lurks therein.
When I read multiple articles on this operation, I was very upset that the US gov't would go to this link and risk lives unnecessarily.
Jroyster22, was there a link in there, or did it fail? 'Cause if it failed please re-post it.
