I hate hacking, hackers, and the concept that they think that they are better just because they can cheat. If you agree with me or disagree, please simply post that here, thank you.

I really don't understand the point of this thread.
Are you trying to imply that people think they're morally justified in hacking?
They don't care about the morality behind it - they want something, they get it.

They do not think they are better. Because they're actually intelligent and have knowledge of how coding works, they're not stupid.

If they Download Hacks I would even not think that - yay, I have this unfair advantage over you, I'm better!

Not really. They're called bad trolls, the problem with trolling is that it's always bad, and mainly people without experience get drawn into it.
It's not hard to pick up when someone is acting beyond stupid, and even when they don't, it generally isn't worth your time.

So yeah, I agree with the idea that hacking is wrong... who wouldn't?

Well yes hacking is wrong. hackers will admit hacking is wrong. Like Highfire said, people hack to get things. Its not about being better, it's about getting what you don't have. What hacking are you talking about? Getting past a firewall or security system, or hacking a game?

Video games section, given the context, I'm pretty sure it's about games.
If not, epic fail to the OP making this thread in the Video Games section. ^^

Of course hacking is wrong, but while I'm here I'd like to say something about Hacking v. glitching.

Hacking is the process of using external forces outside of the game to work the inner constructs of the game, usually to never have to reload in certain online shooters. However, glitching is the process of using the in-game mechanics to change the game. Everything that the developer put into the game they put in knowing what they wanted in the game. If there's a glitch, that's THEIR fault they put it there. As far as we know, that's just a secret code of some sort to glitch the game.

Hackers? Nay. Glitchers? Innovators.

What Chillz said, there's nothing wrong with glitching as it is, essentially, part of the game. You wouldn't restrict yourself from using the Extractor Trick (which isn't necessarily a glitch) when it's more optimal in a competition. In eSports / competitive gaming it's w/e is in the confines of the game to win, and glitches are included, really.

What kind of hacking? Game hacking, real life hacking? Phone hacking. Not all hackers are wrong or bad. Pen-testers are some of the best there are.

He already said video game hackers.

Personally I hack non-multiplayer games just for the sake of it. I don't hack when I'm playing with third parties, but if it's single player mode then ah well, anything goes.

In a game I used to play called Combat Arms, glitching would make you become demoted and eventualy ip banned.

I personaly like hacks, I consider it an extenson to the game, a new level of difficulty, first you have to get past all the security, then when your finaly in, you have to be the best of all the other people who made it past the first teir.

Also I used to play a game called Titan Quest where hackers would be hacking the system to get them new stuff and that was almost like constructive hacking since you are adding new spells and weapons to the game.

in all the way hackers think that what they do is funny or even entertaining but its all the way around boring for other people and the fun of the game itself damages a bit
