The nation was basically in 'anic mode' and wanted something to be done. Something was done. Looking back, it wasn't exactly a good thing, but it calmed the nerves of the people back then knowing that some form of action had been taken.
i agree with Joe also i dont like Bush or Obama they're both prett full of crap i think Obama is spinles and afraid to have people not like his so he wont do anythink only good thig he ever di is kill Bin Ladin and still he did int have too munch to do with that and now Bush was a terrible politicain who responded to 9/11 right but got lost somewhere along the way
