I'm officially fed up with this guy. I killed the Minotaur on my first try, haven't fought the Beholder yet, but right now this stupid giant is being a pain in the butt. I have no problem with his opening pattern. I can very easily get him down to a quarter of his max health without ever getting hit. The problems start when he summons the ghosts...
Most recent attempt: I'm level 28, same level as him. I enter the fight, knock him down to a quarter of his life left, he summons the ghosts, I turn on speed, magic pot up, turn on guardian angel and open my inventory and just start downing potions like mad while running away as best as I can. I can keep this up and deal some damage to the ghosts in the meantime, but every single time I wind up stunlocked by the ghosts right when Mr. Giant feels like casting meteor all over my face, and no matter how defensively I play, I get my butt kicked.
The levels of everyone in the fight increase at the same rate that mine does, so grinding won't help matters any. How am I supposed to get the ghosts out of my hair without the giant jumping in and trashing me?
I beat him easily when I came back at lvl 32.. I think you can still skip that boss. Ghosts are really annoying, but once you outlevel him by few levels, its gonna be easy
