No, there were only ever three books, that's why it's called a trilogy, though it would be cool if they made a movie of The Hobbit.

Ya, if you don't understand how deep the plot goes, you'll hate the movie, and think the whole thing is walking. Which it isn't...see above .

They made the movie good no bullcrap graphics around the movie fake monsters and sh1t

Ok Lord of the Rings is one of the most awesomest movies and books ever. The movies were awesome, and the orcs and trolls and such looked so realistic you'd think they were real. Also they are coming out with a movie for The Hobbit, but since its so long and complex, it'll be spread out over 2 movies.

read the hobbit, silmarillion, fellowship of the rings, the two towers, the return of the king and the children of hurin before you go off saying it is boring I think it is the second best trilogy of books ever written, behind the epic poem Beowulf which is a masterpiece
