something wrong with your headphones, mine work fine on steam, i use em' all the time

Make sure that you have enabled your headphones on steam.

My heapphones work on Steam. Maybe install them again or change something in settings.

Under Steam settings click on the voice tab, make sure the Recording (audio input) device is correctly selected to the headset.
Eg, Logitech USB Headset. Also, if that doesn't work try the auto detecting device button.
Make sure your Mic volume on Steam isn't turned down, and make sure that if you are using a Push-Key to transmit voice that you are pushing it.
