ok the captain you meet in the deep, he killed me then the game just end and you cant Resume from where you were so i dont want to play the game from the start i just wonder if anyone have killed that captain
I haven't played the game but I'm just gonna' take a guess based on most of yours' posts and say that the captin is supposed to kill, but I haven't played the game for myself yet.
I think the point of Fisher-Diver isn't so much the game itself or even the story about the old captain, but the emotion. It puts the player in a relaxed state and then has them hunted by a superior opponent. That sort of fear at being chased when you're just swimming around is quote powerful.
Compare it to a survival-horror game: you're always on edge, since you always know that something is going to come crashing through the walls to kill you. Here, however, you were completely relaxed and catching fish before, BAM, captain comes.
I think it's a form of game-based storytelling that not too many developers are taking advantage of yet.
The game's ending seems to be foreshadowed by the description of the harpoon in the upgrade shop, which reads: "It wouldn't be hunting if they stood a chance!"
you may have hit something beforehand. If you refresh the game and type it in without hitting anything else, a free play thing pops up below the new game option.
I think it's because like the person we play as just keeps killing fish without knowing what it feels like to be them and the captain was teaching you a lesson and to know what it feels like to be the fish that's why you were able to breathe in the water like a fish and then he killed you like how you kill fish so yeah it's like the hunter being the hunted
