Is there an button i can press ( or something else ), i can do to make the game PAUSE , even when i press that button many times ?

My laptop is lagging and i cant do anything somethimes ,
and i end up restarting the game alot of times =(
And i end up with looseing alot of progress .

Spacebar acts as a shortcut for pausing plus there's the control in the top-left corner, but I'm afraid if you press it again while paused (and that applies to both the button and the key) it will unpause.

I know about that , but thx for your reply .

I've noticed that its best to PAUSE the game before i do something ( when i start lagging ) ,
but if i mess up abit , i end up with nothing working =P

So chaining speed and removeing gems ,
might be an bad idea after lagging .
( When you try to get amulets )

Oh just figured out that the TRAP(S) make the game lag for me .
So i might need to avoid useing the shocking gem in trap at the end of the path =( .
And it might be better if i let them run throu the ORB =(

( The settings are all without Heal and get stronger after Banish )
