The Pharisees couldn't stand him, but they couldn't stop Him. Herod couldn't kill him; Pilate couldn't find fault with Him. Death couldn't keep Him, and the grave couldn't hold Him. Thats my King! I wonder, do you know him?

Google isn't being my friend right now, so I can't find who said this or what the exact wording is:
They hate the LORD because they say he is brutal, that he is merciless, that he is unjust, and violent, and breeds hatred and mistrust among all those who hear of him. But the LORD I worship is loving, and merciful, and just, and compassionate, and holy. So who is it they really hate? The LORD? Or just a figment of their imagination?
(I apologize for anything I may have included or excluded for the actual quote. Again, Google is being very unfriendly right now.)
