This is the place to talk about Dead Island, the new PS3 and Xbox 360. Talk about the areas, how far you've gotten, hidden stuff, the zombies and anything else you would like to talk about. Here's mine to start off:
I have heard that there is Jason (out of the Friday the 13th films) in the jungle. What I want to know is, how hard is he to kill and is his weapon good?
Jason is a though Warrior with a Machete, he is not undead and after killing him you can get his Chainsaw in his House. The Chainsaw is great but you cannot repair it so it gets useless after 100 enemy.
his machete is a crap Item but its funny to see how he kills the Walking deaths and infected. And of course this game is scary, its a survival Zombie Horror. But its great and it makes more fun with friends in coop.

Anyways, I didn't really think it was that much of a horror game, since you were pretty powerful and, well, armed. Sure, there were points when you got scared because an Infected or two seemed to appear from out of nowhere, but most of the time you didn't want to run away from the zombies, screaming in fear, you want to bash their skulls in and scream insults to their now non-existent face.
Anyways, I freaking loved this game. Never ran into a Jason, though, but a chainsaw sounds like so much fun. I finished the game, and I played as Sam B, the blunt weapons specialist. Me and my trusty sledgehammer had a lot of fun.
A question; did anyone grab the lockpick skill, and if so, were the items you found in the locked boxes really worth it? I never took it myself.
Lock pick is a great Skill, you have a chance of 33% to get a rare or higher weapon. (In normal steel Boxes its only 5%. Ant about the too Powerfull, iam at Moresby with Purna level 20, after 7 Stomp kills i get Rage full and can shoot up to 15 Zombies. But even now they pressure me hard and i have to watch out my steps.
Not so much of a "scary" game, but it definitely has its moments. I'm rolling with Logan. Level 43. Loving the game, played 30 hours on it so far. Yet to try out online. Very much enjoy it.
Is there anyone that knows all of the fury weapons people use? I am just interested to know. I know they will be on Youtube, but I never find videos like that because people don't put stuff like that on there usually.
