1. I've been sticking with the Rocket Launcher as my explosive weapon, assuming that since it has the highest "ower" stat of all the explosives. Is this assumption true?
2. I my assumption from above is wrong should i switch to Ion Cannon or Ice Hunter?

I believe that is correct. At least in my experience, I've beaten just about all of the "boss" levels with the rocket launcher. It may not hold much ammo, but it makes up for it by killing an enemy in fewer shots than virtually any other gun.
OK: the Rocket Launcher is a GREAT weapon to stand by. The Ion Cannon doesn't cut it with lower damage and slower fire, but if it's range and accuracy you like, go ahead. The Ice Hunter SUCKS. Little damage, only five shots per weapon, what more can be said? Stick with the Rocket Launcher. Trust me.
it can deplete health pretty good but dont get too close(and if u got medipack it can help u last longer when ur on fire)and can kill multiple ppl if u jump over them and fire
