What I'm trying to say is, can someone please list the total number of things taxed in the Townshend Acts of 1767. By the way, you're not doing my homework.
"the Revenue Act of 1767, the Indemnity Act, the Commissioners of Customs Act, the Vice Admiralty Court Act, and the New York Restraining Act" ~Wikipedia
The first and second were passed in order to benefit the British tea market, specifically by removing the import tax on any tea imported to Britain, then exporting it to the US. The Revenue Act also enforced the Writs of Assistance (right to search/seize property without proper warrant). The CCA simply established a customs board, while the VACA allowed for a court for those who were caught smuggling.
