I was wondering if anyone actually knows how to effectively play Fisher-Diver. It's a cool game, but I really don't understand it. The fish look like a knot of polygons with a long white line which I take is the vertebrae. I know you're supposed to shoot them in the vertebrae but it always seems to take about 4 shots, unless I want to wait forever for them to bleed out, and sometimes they won't die in less than 4.
You're supposed to shoot them without breaking the vertebrae i believe, i.e. only shoot the white part in the middle when possible. This won't do more damage, it will just get you more money.
I really didn't like that game. It appeared to have a story, but...not really. It never explained anything and the fish are all unrecognizable jumbles of lines. You can't tell what is the "spine" or "head" or anything.
As for getting the most out of them, all I can say is, the less shots you use, the more they are worth generally. I found no sure-fire way to get a large cash load from any specific jumble every time.
