Scratch that, pressed a button I don't know, that apparently has to submit this :<
Raven Squad barely has great graphics, I used Crysis 1 as an example as it was released two years before Raven Squad with greater graphics and furthermore, if what you say about Raven Squad is true, a better gameplay aspect.
Okay, obviously they can't hurt. And in most situations, a developer who is able to make kick *** graphics can usually come up with good gameplay/storylines.
uh yeahh obviously thats the whole gaming market these days!
Well, I read reviews of games before I buy them, like a smart gamer, and reviews don't care how amazing the visuals are if it sucks at telling a story and sucks at being a game.

lately ive actually noticed that games have great graphics and are horibble games. im not saying all of them are but lately the makers care just about the graphic and as long as the graphics are good they dont care about the rest of the game at all.
All the 'hardcore' gamers these days really started to annoy me. Sure graphics sometimes can get you in the game, make you feel like you're actually living all that happens on screen, but these new-age gamers basically think 'Look at the graphics in X, it's nothing compared to Y' and they refuse to even try the game because it doesn't make your PC nearly explode.
For comparison: God of War 1 and 2 are the best games I ever played. It has a good story, a character that kills gods etc. etc. and if you compare the graphics of these games to CoD for example, it would be like comparing Super Mario for the Gameboy and The super mario for the Wii. But it doesn't really matter, it's a good game, so why not put aside the lower graphic quality?
