Well, politics arnt really my strong suit, but I do read. So I decided to do some reading, and according to this article Obama is pulling U.S troops out of Iraq. So, what do you think about this? Good idea, bad, whatever you think.

Hussein = kid...Failing to find WMDs after marching across whole of Iraq, they killed Hussein just for that, they did not need him alive.

You really think the genocidal dictator should be considered as an innocent child? Hussein was killed by the people of the nation after going on trial for his crimes against humanity.

He was speaking in context of the American invasion.

The war in the Middle East may never be over for the U.S. For one, we caused more damage than we fixed by going over, and someone needs to safeguard the U.S.; however, it cannot be us. The longer we stay the worse it gets. Secondly, we're allies with Israel. I don't mean this offensively, but almost no nations in the Middle East like Israel. In fact, the converse is true in many cases. Lastly, we have need for natural resources in the Middle East, and contingents of the military will need to safeguard our assets. America will (unless bizarre chance drastically changes the world) never be self-sufficient. Self-sufficiency is inefficiency.

He claimed that the US troops killed Hussein simply because they could. Hussein wasn't even killed by US troops. He was killed by his own people.

No, they killed him for the exact reason he was charged, crimes against humanity and platant corruption. The irony about the whole situation is that the US put Hussein in power and supplyed them all with weapons. A lot of mistakes made at the peak of the Cold War...

That's because during the cold war everyone was scared to death by communism and the thought a nuclear war.

"They need to RPGs to stop the spread of soviet influence?"

"Yes, sir."

"Well what're you waiting for!? Give them the ****ed rockets!"

First, who did an overthrow of Hussein, and why? Second, by this logic you have to charge Barack Obama and/or current NATO leader with crimes against humanity, by ordering of bombing Libyan cities during the war in Libya. Third, if they won't obey to the verdict (in case there will be a "guilty" verdict), maybe it'll be good to invade USA to overthrow your prez?

About Cold War - aha, add Taliban here, add Al-Qaeda here, and what do we get? You catch what you deserve, that 9/11 is a result of US's actions, even if indirect.

If your talking about going after someone for that incident then perhaps Bush would be a better target, given he was the one in charge at the time and is responsible for the war. Actually if I remember correctly there was one state that had said if he set foot there he would be arrested for crimes against humanity.

Why did Bush attack Iraq anyway??? It was Afghanistan that was our enemy to begin with? He just caused more trouble for everyone.

That might be correct, though for that they have to have an Interpol arrest order for that person.

I am speaking about crimes in Libya right now, as there was a permission for a no-fly zone, which does not include bombings of anything except maybe airports, while NATO bombed all the major cities in Libya. Speaking of Iraq, Bush would be a better target indeed.
