Bout 50 yards

In that case, move a little closer and get in cover, then start returning fire.

They lack rocks, only large mishaped chunks of brick and whatnot

Well then, he throws an actual grenade.

No but it sounds like the christmas truce in WW1

Nah. It's about WW1, from the perspective of a young German soldier whose high school teacher pushed the whole class into joining the military.
Written in like 1929 I believe, by a German vet.

Lol. I don't want to spoil it or anything.

We can make great progress, my brothers! xD

Well, that seems disrespectful. Speaking of which, did you hear about the giant mess with the Arlington National Cemetery? It's awful, I mean, that's supposed to be the special graveyard for our freaking national heroes.
Anyway, errbody returns fire.

I'd say the play is much more dynamic than the standard point-and-shoot of CoD. The vehicles add an entire new light to a FPS game, and even then it's not just a standard tank, but you can earn perks and attachments similar to how you would a gun attachment. For example, on a T-90A or M1 Abrams I have the Proximity scan, Coaxial HMG and a zoom function so I can literally snipe with an AP shell or .50 Cal machine gun. THE FPS part is ismilar to CoD, except you have to earn your attachments (almost like ranking in the gun itself) to earn each attachment. The maps are large, versatile and most of the stuff is destructable, except now you can't make whole buildings fall apart. I hear there are 64-player matches on the PC (which would be EPIC), but 32-player on consoles works out just fine in the end.

that, and it's much less "lol i shot first from 5 feet away, i'm better since i have teh best gun" i see people who are like rank 35 with guns back from rank 6 and also in the jeeps it's epic on one map where in the beginning i break through a fence to do an epic jump and th enemy is trying to shot me, all i do is hop on the MG fire a lil' and gtfo, large maps are awesome

and on a slightly unrelated note, the sound is so awesome and i beat the campaign that has to be on another disc in a few hours :P

The vehicles also seem evenly balanced, as there are a million and one ways to destroy a vehicle; AT mines are my worst enemy :/

The tanks can go almost as fast as the jeeps or IFVs can.

i never really have a bad problem is i use them they way i do, cept on Tehran highway that's a mineotopia

but i use MBT's for defending frontline flags (i love conquest) jeeps to **** with the enemy and gtfo and apc's to attack (kinda weird but yeh)

i don't try planes unless it's a heli gunner since i still suck at flying them

well you call it in, a plane comes by and shoots a whole 3 rounds ! jk it comes by and rips a lot of the cover and men to shreds

OK, thanks. I've been trying to pick things for my Christmas wish list this year, and I've realized that it's essentially going to be video games and music. Here's my list so far.
Deus Ex: Human Revolution
The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim/Dragon Age II
Battlefield 3/Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3
L.A. Noir
Fallout: New Vegas
Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception
Assassin's Creed: Revelations
But all of those games are like 60 bucks a pop, not even counting S&H, so I'm limiting myself to 2 or 3. I know you guys are like avid gamers, so wanna help me narrow things down a bit?

twas a dud

Beckenbauer breathes a sigh of relief.

Anyway, pretty much what's happening is everybody is returning fire while staying as covered as possible.

if you like mindless violence: get mw3, if you like an epic story so big it has to be on a separate disc, battlefield 3
Fallout: New Vegas (Don't take my word on that, i'm biased i love fallout)
and La Noir/Skyrim

Battlefield 3 it is, then.

Fallout: New Vegas (Don't take my word on that, i'm biased i love fallout)
and La Noir/Skyrim

Also, I can also get 1 of these for my birthday, or 2 if I'm lucky. But I don't want to push it. I've never not gotten anything I asked for on Christmas, because I've never asked for anything that we can't afford even though my dad never really sets a budget for me.

Lol, you forgot to respond in the actual game. xD

Also, I was thinking of creating a "Rotational GM" game...where the GM duties rotated between players, ya dig? I figure there would be about 3 players; at any given time 2 would play, 1 would DM, and then they would switch. I figure that they would rotate once a week or something, what do you think?

And one last thing, have you ever read Angels and Demons by Dan Brown?
