the bartender uses the spell of level 3 teleportation *pushes up nerd glasses* and somehow tells the lieutenant finds an out telling wtf happened saying the reason why they were late is because they all got drunk and vomited on themselves
Man, how come the bartender doesn't like them? They were all doomed from the start anyway. Beckenbauer only managed to get so far because he drank in moderation. But the rest of them stumble and fall all over themselves about two feet out the door(Wittgenstein wasn't drunk, but gets crushed when Metzinger falls on top of him, lol). Richthofen clenches and unclenches his fists slowly. "Where are they now?" he asks in Dutch.
Meanwhile, Heiskanen is busy with Beckenbauer. He orders Beckenbauer to take off all his clothes(except for underwear) in the freezing cold. Beckenbauer very reluctantly complies, and Heiskanen rushes off to Beckenbauer's tent. A few moments later, Heiskanen returns with Beckenbauer's toothbrush and hands it to him. "Start scrubbing," he orders. Beckenbauer stares at him incredulously, then sits down and starts cleaning the vomit out of his clothes with the toothbrush. xD
And Wagner is a little less drunk since he wasn't there drinking the whole time...which doesn't really matter, thanks to the reason why he wasn't there the whole time. Kazhislov held back a bit(he's drunk, but not as bad as Metzinger). Richthofen starts slowly clenching and unclenching his fists. He starts to breathe slowly in and out. "Does someone..." he says at last, "care to explain this situation to me?" There is a long pause, then a muffled response from Wittgenstein, who's still buried under Metzinger. Richthofen frowns. "Get up," he tells Metzinger. Metzinger stands up in a hurry, and falls down again just as quickly. Luckily, he falls in a different direction and Wittgenstein is freed. "There is an officer present," Richthofen reminds them. "You should be standing at attention and saluting." Wittgenstein does so with ease; Kazhislov and Wagner manage to stand, but salute too high and too low respectively, and Kazhislov salutes with the wrong hand; Metzinger tries to stand but fails again.
Heiskanen has left Beckenbauer alone now, and returned to the tent. Beckenbauer considers sneaking away, but decides against it. Do any of the civilians take pity? xD
I mean about Beckenbauer. He's sitting there in nothing but his underwear scrubbing the vomit out of his uniform with a toothbrush.
After a while, Wittgenstein cracks and spills the beans about what happened. Richthofen, surprisingly, doesn't start yelling at them like Heiskanen would have. He just seems disappointed. He starts talking to them in German about self-respect and discipline and loyalty and all that for a while. He orders Metzinger to apologize to the girl he failed at hitting on(which Metzinger does with reluctance), then everybody to go back to their tents, clean their uniforms, and sober up. Then he looks for Beckenbauer.
Just a second. Richthofen lectures both of them, and forces Wagner to apologize to her and swear it won't happen again, then lets them both go. He finds Beckenbauer and lets him stop and go back to the tent without a lecture, figuring he's been punished enough. And now time skip.
