Man, do I ever wish that the coldest it got here was 60 degrees Fahrenheit! *sigh*
60 degrees, seems better, even thought its kinda cold.
True, but it's sooooo nice to come into a nice, toasty warm room after just having been outside in the cold weather.
Oh, yes, my city is in the mountains, so it rains pretty frequently here, even thought it never lasts more than 10 minutes to 1 hour it gets pretty cold sometimes, expecially in Autumn.
"I noticed," Richthofen says, smiling. He gives the American leader his overcoat; Gottschlieben, Wittgenstein, Straussenberg, and Beckenbauer do the same for other Americans. They don't seem to be cold at all. "I'm sorry, I haven't introduced myself. My name is Lieutenant Richthofen. That's Private First Class Gottschlieben and Private Wittgenstein, and that's Private Straussenberg and Corporal Beckenbauer." He points to each of them in turn. "Oh, and as for the food...it seems that our countries have one thing in common, yes?"
"Thanks for the coat. Good leather. You know, you guys don't seem like the bad guys that we all hear about after all, infact you are all pretty nice."
"Oh, sorry me neither; I'm 1st Sergeant Jackson; the one with the bad haircutt is Corporal Miller, the one muncing on the food like there's no tomorrow is Private 1st Class Johnson, he's Private Bricks, he is Private Connor." He points to the last two then continue.
"In your's too, I heard the Germans keep their soldiers well fed and supplied, it seems no two countries are much different in these things eh?"
"Thanks for the coat. Good leather. You know, you guys don't seem like the bad guys that we all hear about after all, infact you are all pretty nice."
"You're welcome," Richthofen replies. "But there are twenty Germans here, and only five have chosen to sit with you. They are not necessarily all good, or all evil, but they have heard about the American capitalists...and very little of what they have heard is good." He shakes his head sadly.

"Good to meet you," Richthofen says, taking the glove off his right hand and extending you to shake. He translates the names of the Americans to the other 4 German soldiers, most of whom nod at the Americans then turn back to their food. "You'll have to forgive them, none of them speak English other than Gottschlieben, and even he is not very good at it."

"Indeed," Richthofen says, nodding. "But we are fortunate here to be so well supplied. It is not so in many places. I know what it is like to be short on supplies."
not leather, wool
Could Richthofen's be leather?
30 bucks? It would be like R$40-50 in here, and yes that too much.
What's the exchange rate...1 U.S. dollar is worth just under 2 reals right?

What type of currency do you have?

I can't wait for a laptop, that'll be the 1 and only game I'm getting for it, unless a new one comes out. Tak's squad goes to the appropiate place for being 'on the defense' and they start digging in.

If time allows, they dig a stand-in trench with a foliage roof (gathered from nearby plants/trees), with a12 inch gap between the top of the roof and the top of the trench at the front.

Samuel looks at Richtofen's face, then smiles a bit. "Twenty? I only seen 8! And even then I was confused!" His smile suddently drops, then he continues. "I know, no one here is good or bad, but no one cares if we live or die, not you Fatherland, nor our Uncle Sam. It's just survival."

*Shakes his hand*
"Nice to meet you too. Nah, no problem, none of us here speak German anyway, so were even." He says it with half-a-smille.

Actually, it's 1.8 Reals, but even then it would be way too costly, and I'm not even counting the Freight!
A trench deep enough to stand in comfortably, with a slanted frame above made from saplings and branches. Put large leafy foliage on top of this, to essentially make a camouflaged and sheltered trench.
