Hmm...mortar blasted. Schultz is basically shellshocked at this point, he just sits there with his shiny helmet in his hands, staring at his reflection. He has a few nicks and bruises, but nothing even close to serious. For his part, Steiner - who is the only uninjured one - is keeping an eye out to make sure nobody sneaks up on them while they're weak. Heiskanen, who was relatively lightly injured(*insert minor-ish wound*) is doing his best to patch up Beckenbauer(who is losing consciousness) and Eppenstein(*insert moderate-to-severe wound*).

"We need to radio Richthofen and regroup," Heiskanen informs Schultz, who shakes his head. "We need to hold the line," Schultz insists dully. "Are you insane?" Heiskanen demands angrily. "Hold the line with what?!" "Those are our orders," Schultz replies. "We need to follow them. We're not retreating." "You're going to get us all killed!" Heiskanen tells him. "We have to fall back." "That's enough," Schultz says angrily, standing up. "I give the orders around here, not you. Stick to playing nursemaid."
