So a few minutes ago Dr. Conrad Murray was found guilty of involuntary manslaughter of Michael Jackson. I personally think he should serve jail time, and he deserves his punishment. What are your opinions of this verdict?

only because the guy was called michael jackson. the public wants some1 to pay for his death. things like that happen prety often in normal hospitals (i'm not saying daily ) but then no1 has to go to jail or any other punishment.

Technically such cases warrant arrests and punishments, but I'm guessing the staff themselves protect their own kind and don't report nothing. That doesn't mean they shouldn't be punished, in fact, all the more they must.

And yes, he went to jail only because he was a doctor of MJ. But not because of the reason you gave (The people bay for blood), but because his death was so high profile that it got into the public's attention. Hopefully his death can bring to light more of such ''mishaps'' that go unreported.

Meh... dunno how to feel about it. I still don't know, and will never know, if he truly was guilty or not (and honestly it doesn't bother me too much); all I know is he's been found guilty by the court. I'm sure both Michael and his doctor can be blamed for his death to some extent, I just don't know how far.

And I found La Toya's reaction blameful. She gives the impression that she doesn't care for justice and just wanted to win the trial for the sake of the victory of the Jackson clan; I mean I can understand some of her emotion, it's her brother that died after all; but vengeance =/= justice.

I agree with HahiHa... I am not sure how I feel about this. Both can be blamed. I almost feel there was an urgency to pin this on someone. I could be wrong. Only Michael and Murray know!

for me it just shows the biggest flaw in usa court again.
putting random people in charge for somethine non of them have actualy learned for.

how can a unskilled group of people tell in only 9 hours if he was guilty or not.
it's just to hypocritical for words.

That's because when someone famous dies under suspicious circumstances, people generally want a speedy trial, and a fast conviction. When Charles Lindbergh Jr. was kidnapped, and someone was blamed for his death and kidnapping, he got the chair almost immediately. The trial was a political farce, and now there are serious doubts about his guilt.

I heard that Michael Jackson asked for the drugs, and Dr. Conrad Murray said no, then they got into a fight, the Dr. Murray gave in, he gave Michael Jackson a certain amount, and Dr. Murray was Meant to monitor him all the time, but, he didn't! he probably went to the toilet or something, then he probably came back and found out Michael Jackson was dead! So the question is Should Dr. Conrad Murray go to jail for not monitoring him 24.7 day and night? well maybe or maybe not.
Sorry for the long opinion, it's just so interesting to talk about this!
