I have seen a lot of beat 'em up games on the "Action" section of the website. I have had a very hard time finding these types of games. With that being said, it would be nice if there was a "Beat 'Em Up" section. That way I can find a quick game to play before going to school or soccer practice. Any comments to this post will be useful so the Armor Games team might see this. Me and maybe some other people out there would want this feature, so please spread this around but give credit to me for starting this idea.
There probably aren't enough "beat 'em up" games to make an entire section on the site for them, so they just put them in the general places, like action.
I kinda think more specific categories would be nice, I mentioned it once before somewhere else, and I don't really see the harm in it. I as well love TD games, and it took me quite a while to eventually find and play all of them, which I most likely haven't yet. Perhaps even sub-categories, like having a TD and RTS in Strategy. I also don't see much difference in the Action and Arcade categories, they seem very similar to me. Just a thought.
That would be a better way of splitting up the genres a little more, but then again... you would miss several games you see when browsing through a certain section and I think that's just the idea behind it! Have users find other games and try them!
Also... there will be a new way to search for games by means of the tags on them in AGv3.0. So finding specific games will become easier in the future! =)
But a drop down menu MAY be an option, so why not suggest this in the ArmorGames v3.0 Forum then?
Hmmmm... *chinrubs* froum?! Yes! Now that's an original name for the new Beat 'em Up section of games here on AG! Ladies and gentlemen, we proudly present:

LOL! I call that an average mistake that i make. But when u say "froum" it sounds like some old english word ima go look it up.
Hey!! lol there's a defition of "froum monkey" XD Here:
A cyber creature that welcomes noobs and newbies into froums like its counter part the froum goat
admin(welcome to our froum.) noob(thxs.) admin(now bend over as our froum monkey beats the living crap out of you.)
But I was actually more relating to the new game genre topic and the explanation below:
"Froumpy" is a close relative of "frumpy." It is used as a more delicate way to say, "lacking in style, fit, or really any positive physical appearance."
This would relate to a game where a "Froumpy" person would be the one having the urge to start a brawl/fight and make it through the level, hence the genre section names: "BRAWL" or "FROUM"!

Wow, *speechless* i can't believe my type-o actually means something XD

Yes, fun huh?! You learn every hour of every day and every minute of every hour and every second of every minute! You just have to be curious enough and be open to learn stuff! =)
Wait... I'm really starting to sound like a dad now... *facepalms*
Oh wel... back on topic: someone suggested that there are going to be sub-sections implemented for all the sections when AG3 launches, but I somehow at some point started to think that this is something not viable...
You see, this would present a lot of unneccessary clicking, when all you would actually need to do is enter a tag in the search bar and enter... and you get what you need in an instant! =D
