Yeah, quite often. I'm pretty sure this isn't allowed:

But a lot of accounts do this, I report them when I see them but I'm not sure a reported comment gets noticed unless a certain number of people report it (anti troll precautions or something)
But am I the only one noticing? Unless this is one f AG's advertisers (in which case, lol. srry. :3 ) I think this is against the rules. If this is a repeat post I apologize in advance.

Sigh Cen. Psst....you forget moi!~

That was a different game, though.

Either way, looking forward to AGv3, if they are going to implement some of the mod-suggestions.

Pardon, I wasn't around when the accursed AG3 High God was around before he plunged into the dark abyss. What are these?

Basically, we mods suggested a bunch of stuff to be added to make our mod-ing a bit easier than it currently is.
While I can't really state what due to it being secret mod stuff, it would at least be a little easier to deal with the adbots and their spam.
And considering the staff is as busy as they are, it might be a good plan, so we can actually deal with this ourselves, instead of relying on them to take fifteen minutes out of their day to ban people.

Hmm cool. It's becoming like a plague now those adbots.

them to take fifteen minutes out of their day to ban people.

Admins?

They are working on AGv3. Usually through their workday. I kinda assume they then go home and ignore the site exists, which is probably fair enough considering it's their work, but we kinda need help :/
Justin is however really nice and says thanks whenever he is replying to a report. He just have to... reply to some more, especially with the amount of adbots around.

Can't say they are doing anything wrong, just that I get frustrated I can't do more to relieve this annoyance for the users.

i dont think reporting is enough (do you mean by reporting posting names on mods wall?) because report them they get banned ... a day later another 6 are ready to advertise maybe armorgames should shut of comments and forum posts for a month and comeback but still dont think that would work i will put names of spammers i know here

The staff is busy and a month is a long time on the internet, so I doubt that would be a good move.
But no, reporting is not enough, but it's the best we can do with the limited resources we have.
Also, most, if not all the spammers have been banned, their comments just haven't been deleted, because they are goddarn everywhere.

No I don't. Because I'm a mod. I also doubt the admins actually look at the posts flagged, as much as simply clearing out what has been flagged more than x amount of times, but I really don't know.

So you're telling me that, even though that there's a flag button that you can click in case of spam, cuss etc, the admins dont even look at it?!? THATS UTTERLY RETARDED(sorry about that but its true)... they might as well take it out. i mean, a flag is supposed to be easy as opposed to goin to a guys profile, copying/pasting on a mods profile, and finding another comment that they were spamming/cussing/etc? anyone else think this is weird?

Granted they're busy with AG3. However, I agree, it's impractical to have the flag when nobody checks it, but they've mentioned giving moderators the ability of checking flagged things in AG3.

Well, it's my own theory. It makes it a lot easier to simply assume the flag doesn't work, the same way one should assume that posting "this thread needs to be locked" in a thread doesn't actually summon moderators to lock the thread.
I might very well be wrong, but I do consider it more constructive to at least report repeat offenders instead of flagging their comments, as that will probably result in the account being banned faster.

Besides, depending on the theories, the flag might only show up the repeatedly flagged comments, they might not show who the comment belongs to and so on, and so on. All in all, if you want the accounts to be banned, report them. If you just like pressing the little flag and want the comments gone over time, then, by all means, press the little flag all you want.

They just don't stop! There's two more users advertising the same RPG game! Fortunately though, there's this. Why can't they IP ban them?

Why can't they IP ban them?

I am of the current belief that none of the staff members are able to IPblock anything.
It may sounds harsh, but there seems to be no will to correct this belief in me.

As for the facebook-ads, I will repeat my unofficial advice (not the opinion of any staff, the company of Armorgames or any other relevant organisation) that you, if you have a fabebook account, should go send complaints to the creator of the app (it is easily done).
Who knows, maybe it would work.

*sniff* No facebook....

Hopefully thaboss's emails to Justin will ban these. There's about 5 he's seen still active.

That's exactly what thaboss was thinking, but he was thinking that the staff might want to do it to make it more "official..."

Anyone with "1893" at the end of their username is one of them...

There is only one active at a time. The rest is just what is left after them being banned, but the posts hasn't been deleted as well.

The last one Voidy banned didn't have that in their username, though.

I hope Justin will notice the one I just resent. It is only vaguely adbot related, but it could mean the advertisement stopped as well.

All these links are active. (At least at this time.) Thaboss has screenshots of comments from all of them advertising the same RPG game.
