Absolutely. He has a lot of good beats and some that aren't so hot.
But overall I really like his music and the remixes he does. I am not a huge fan of remixes but he can do some pretty decent ones.
I suppose you have to like electronic/dubstep to enjoy his music.

I only like Scary Monsters and Nice Sprites.. I don't like dubstep and all that electronic stuff but I do like that one song xD

honestly, no. He has a huge fanbase so he's obviously doing SOMETHING right, but I really dont know what. I happen to be a huge fan of dubstep, (i was listening to drum and bass like 6-7 years ago) He only has 2-3 songs that I even remotely like, yet he remains much more popular than say, Flux Pavilion, Zomboy, or even Nero...

Yea I listen to a few of there songs the Korn ft. Skrillex: Get up is a well done song.

**** Skrillex. Want some good dubstep? Listen to Flux Pavilion and Doctor P and Zeds Dead and Crizzly. Then we could talk.
Honestly, he is just big because everyone hopped on the bandwagon.

I quite like skrillex for easy listening, but as 6dave6Wolf6 pointed out, he's not amazing dubstep. There are so many more progressive artists out there, but skrillex provides easy listening that attracts those usually not interested in anything semi-dubstep.

I listen to dubstep, not any of those other bands. The original is always the best.
