So I was playing Paintball - The Game the other night in the puzzle and skills section, and was rather shocked when I reached stage 3 I believe it was.
I'm sure anyone who's played the game knows exactly what I'm talking about, and I was just curious if anyone thinks it's kind of silly that we get deducted AP for swearing, but people are allowed to submit content with subject like that? Don't get me wrong, I don't want to go around swearing all over the forums, and I like that there is a profanity filter/censor in place, but it was just a thought that came to mind a few moments and I was wondering if anyone else had thought of it before or what your thoughts were on the matter.
I'm not trying to cause an uproar over Rules and Regulations or anything like that, just a simple discussion. Personally I did find it rather humorous and chuckled to myself for a moment, but still was shocked, not in a disgust sort of way, but in a surprised way.
No, you don't. Unless you are doing nothing but that, while also circumventing the censor. However, that said, user content and game content seems to be two quite different things. Mods take care of whatever has been posted or said and make sure the site is as user friendly as possible, while the staff takes care of the games submitted, making the rules and what not. We can't really do anything about what they decide to allow of content in a game, even though that specific level seems to be more than questionable considering pornography will get you either a lengthy ban or a permaban...
