No, no it would not.Slashing prices = bad idea. Mostly.Unless it's Whataburger or the clearance aisle of Walmart.
I enjoy it when stores cut prices by 50% for clothing sales, but if the price of everything were cut by 50%, it would cause huge problems.
The logic is roughly equivalent to saying that all our energy problems will be solved if we plug in an extension cord to itself.
