The game I am making is called The Alchemist of Rettorthos. I have art down, I just need a good flash program that doesn't cost $699 or something expensive of the sort. I also would like to collaborate w/ someone else to help me with the coding of flash since I suck at it almost entirely.
Here's a list of free programs. I'd say either try Stencyl or Flashdevelop since you can't get a .swf file with Game Maker games.
If you'd like to collaborate with someone then I recommend asking a moderator to move this thread to this section of the forums. Most programmers are located there and they probably don't check this section for these types of threads.
In it, you play as an Old Man called Zephos who is a Grand Master at Alchemy. What you do in this game is fight monsters and get different spells to fight them with. It's very simple yet very fun. Wouldn't you agree? Anyways, 'tis a platformer. 2D's. Not 3.
