First off rebuild is a game where you have a small colony of people in some random town in the middle of no where. You start by naming the city and your guy, the name has no affect in gameplay as far as I know, you have a couple buildings to begin with, you have a police station, some homes, and a farm. you should start by scouting near by farms, owning farms is essential to keeping your survivors alive. after scouting you should attack the area with a majority of your people. you want the percent to be at 90% or above so that you dont lose survivors. "note-do not send to many of your people this will leave your town defenceless against the zombies and you will end up losing one of you areas. after attacking an area reclaim it. once it has been reclaimed you will notice your food production has gone up. do this with other building to gain food and survivors. different building will give you different perks in the game poline station or mall will give security houses will give you space for survivors farms give you food production bars and churches give your survivors happiness labs are used to research upgrades hospitals will heal your survivors most building can be transformed into other types of buildings to increase what you lack there are several ways to beat this game, 1. destroy the portal with a massive amount of guys 2. discover the cure for zombieism by using labs there are I think other ways to win the game but I don't remember them, If anyone has anything to add please post it.
Scouting - no risk, no skill, takes 1 day, lets you know if there are survivors, resources, Zombies.
Skills are learned slowly, by using them, or can be trained (2 days) in a school (up to 2 people in one skill at a time). Within limits, a higher skill total assigned to a task will make it more effective (scavenge, recruit), faster (fortify, claim, science) or safer (combat).
In general it may be best to scout, fight, scavenge, recruit, claim in that order - if you claim first, then you lose possible scavenge and drive any survivors to another area.
