If your referring to it as an unlikely but beneficial event, maybe. Though you might as well just call him lucky so we don't have to mince words. In the article what they mean by miracle is one of a supernatural origin, which I would have to disagree with given we do have natural explanations for how he could have survived.

This is usually always the case, ignore the fact the other man died just because one man somehow survived. He was probably just healthier overall in comparison to his brother. Or something related to that, I guess
