Tall buildings tend to have updrafts. That might explain how he survived.

The platform could also have provided additional air resistance, as well as sliding alongside of the building.

Yeah, but its really incredible that his brother was a feew feet away and died while he survived. It's also amazing that he had collaped lungs, blood clots in his brain, and damage to many organs. He was uncouncious for weeks too. It is a miricle. I won't say one by God, but defintily a miricle. I wonder how long he was there for.

sounds like the ultimate basejump =P
anyway people can be very lucky, 2 days ago i hear a story of a man stabbed 26 times in the neck, chest and back. he then called 911 by himself after his attacker left.

sometimes a human can take alot abuse while a other time a human dies from very silly things.
can it be explained? probably but not by me.

So no miracle for him then huh? Interesting how we are looking at the guy who survived and ignore the one that didn't for the miracle.

How is this amazing?

If your referring to it as an unlikely but beneficial event, maybe. Though you might as well just call him lucky so we don't have to mince words.
In the article what they mean by miracle is one of a supernatural origin, which I would have to disagree with given we do have natural explanations for how he could have survived.

Amazing that he lived after it, not that it happened.

Interesting how we are looking at the guy who survived and ignore the one that didn't for the miracle.

Yeah. Usually the media focuses on the more morbid side of the story. I suppose when you can try to attribute something to God that takes precedence though.

He was probably Atheist.

This is usually always the case, ignore the fact the other man died just because one man somehow survived.
He was probably just healthier overall in comparison to his brother. Or something related to that, I guess

I doubt that, but, it is almost certainly in the way he landed. Also how fast he was falling when he hit the ground.
