Most of you may have read The Hunger Games book and loved it, most of you may not have heard that they where going to make a movie out of it. I want to hear your thoughts about the movie ( I honestly think it's going to be EPIC!). Heres the link to the official website so you can see the official trailer.
The movie has to be epic. I would be so mad if they didn't make a book that good into a movie just as good. I'm looking foward to the movie, and I hope they keep it very accurate to the book.
If the Hunger Games movie isnt as good as the book, then i dont think it will obtain great ratings. When i was first reading the hunger games i remember i was so enthralled by the writing that i thought: This would make a great movie. Im scared to watch the movie because i dont know if it will go up to my expectations.
I really hope the movie can live up to the standards of the book (which was great). If it doesn't, I know many people, including myself, who would be pretty mad.
I read the books, which is too bad because the movie is always a disappointment after the books. I might go see it in theaters, but after Eragon and Percy Jackson and all that, I've learned not to get excited about books being converted into movies.
I really really really hope that the movie doesn't completely destroy the story. I am afraid they will though. I love that series so much!! Does anyone know whether they are making a trilogy or squishing all three books into two hours?
I'm sure that they'll make 3 movies since theirs so much action in every book, yet I hope they don't gt rid of much of the detail put in the book, as well as all the bloody gore which is put into the book well I also hope they actually take time to go through the back story of the movie as in how the districts began with their uprising defeat & why the hunger-games are played out by all 12 districts.
PS-I hope the actors show a-lot of emotion &go with the characters points of view as well as their experience well I hope the movie goes on epicly like the trilogy-DT07
i think it's going to stink. i'm being pessmistic, but look at what they did to percy jackson movies! all the goood parts....cut right out.and they reinvented the whole plot in some parts. i have a feeling that the world will try to turn all of the best books into moves...and epically fail.
I'm a little hesitant. The trailers look AMAZING, but there was so much going on in the book that they might not portray simply because the characters are kids. I hope I'm wrong, they'd be missing out on a lot of what makes the books so great.
What won't they potray? There are plenty of popular movies that are way more violent. I don't think this is going to be oriented to kids, more like teens so there shouldn't be anything that they can't show. The actual actors are older so they is no issue there.
