When I pressed submit I got logged out, so here it goes again.
I have Google Chrome installed, but I only really use it for testing purposes and if my other web browsers don't work. Aside from Chrome, I have Firefox, Chromium, Opera, and Internet Explorer on my computer (Opera is very fast and simple, just like Chrome, and I only have Internet Explorer on my computer for testing things as well, but I rarely ever use it).
Chrome is good for those who don't really care for a lot of extensions and want something that is very simplistic and fast, so that's good for them.
I don't use Chrome as my main browser because it lacks many of my favorite extensions, and it tracks your online progress and people sell it to commercial advertisers, from what I've heard. So if that's true, a good alternative to Chrome is Chromium if you still want that Chrome feel; it's the open source version of Chrome that is supposedly faster and more secure, and it gets updates before Chrome, so that's great.
But I prefer using Firefox overall. It's about the same speed as Chrome, so there's no use in arguing that it's very slow or anything, it has many extensions that improve your browsing experience, and the security is great; you can turn off tracking so websites don't track you and it prevents some other things.
Not exactly what I tried to post earlier, but close enough.
i never liked google chrome mostly for the fact is it goes really slow on my pc for some reason i dont got a slow computer or slow internet it just runs slowly as a browser on my pc so i just stick with firefox cause its the fastest i used so far plus i like the themes
I used to use IE for around 5 years, then when it got slower, I switched to Firefox. Worked like a gem for a couple of years, but it recently got sluggish on my computer so I'm using Chrome now.
I have Chrome installed as well, I mostly use Firefox though. Although I do have a question for those more experienced with Chrome. In the Firefox preferences there is an option for "telling websites that I do not want to be tracked" Does Chrome have this as well?
I believe I have seen some options where you can set specific websites to do or not do specific things. Not very sure though.
I never liked the interface of IE or Mozzila. Whilst chrome wasn't out yet I used Firefox, only because it was much faster. Now, I use chrome because it's simple, easy to use, and has more than enough add-ons. Of course, mozzila has useful add-ons aswell.

I agree that the security is great. I really like that about Firefox. Firefox seems to be slower on my computer then Chrome. Firefox is not slow, just slower. That is why I use Chrome.

From what I can tell there's no such thing in Chrome. I looked through all the options and things available to be clicked.
What do you mean by extensions?
Extensions. They improve your browsing experience by adding things to the web browser that make it better. There's a website where you can get extensions for other browsers too, that one I linked to is just for Firefox.
My Firefox extensions:
My Chrome extensions:
As you can see it doesn't have similar ones to the other ones I have, so I don't really like using Chrome.
alright i use chrome and i love it. on my computer (the one i use most) i have Chrome and IE. on my old old old dell (the one i use LEAST) i got Chrome, IE, and Fire Fox. on my desktop (i use it sometimes) i got Safari, Chrome, IE, and Fire Fox. (NOTE: all the computers mentioned are not really mine, the old dell and the desktop are family, i have a brand new HP) i like google chrome, and safari. dont use IE, and i sometimes use FF (for Netflix i like it.) so ya. the extensions i have for chrome are below if i can get this to work... never mind, well i got ADP (Adblock Plus)
Okay. Google Chrome is alright for me. I also have Firefox. They are most likely the same, but Firefox has extensions Chrome doesn't. I use IE 8 (Which is actually the worst) just to play A.V.A SEA (Alliance of Valiant Arms South-East Asia. Firefox is probably the best, especially if you have a webcam.
