I was bored so i decided to try this.

Rules:

-begins a new game
-can only use barrack tower
-can use specials (meteor, reinforcements)
-can only play in normal difficulty
-can use special structures on the maps
-no premium

I am not sure if its possible to complete the game like this but i have completed 6 levels so far and have 3 stars in each of them exept for the 6th one where i got 2 stars.
I have to say this is pretty hard, you need to get 15 stars for level 6 to throw spears at flyiers. Once you throw spears its really easy to get 3 stars in all the 5 first levels.

Have a try! It's absolutely practicable and quite challenging. You'll find great fun when you beat the game. good luck!

the barracks is only good when it is paired up with a very powerful tower. Otherwise, it is useless.

Actually, a fully upgraded barrack (like Holy Order) costs MORE than a Big Bertha(1790 vs 1707). So I'd rather build 2 of 'em.

i agree but a fully upgraded barrack with paladins can 1) block (with heavy armor)
2) heal (with healing light)
3) attack (with holy order)

I'm not here to convince you that a Big Bertha is definitely stronger than a Holy Order(which spawns paladins), but considering the cost performance, I feel like the big berthas paired with the sorcerer mage obviously performs better than one with the Holy Order in my gaming experience. Maybe you can have a try...
