i dunno if this goes under "support and suggestions", but it seemed appropriate. on my profile, i added a few things and when i pressed update profile, it deleted pretty much everything. can anyone tell me why???
It deleted everything in all the slots you filled or just the biography? That has never happened to me, but it could just be an obscure glitch. Did you happen to press the back button by any chance?
It has happened before. Depending on how much you filled in (there is a limit to about-content), or the site having a hiccup when you save, there is a chance that it might erase or delete a good chunk, if not all of your about. Thus it is often a good idea to save your wit and jokes elsewhere if you don't want it all gone by random happenstance.
