Haven't been around for a while, but I don't think it has come up. What is your opinion of the video and situation? I for one think it is just proof that some people actively pursue reverse discrimination (b/c apparently discrimination is white --> other ethic group hatred) and cry wolf every time they think they can get some airtime/moneys. They say it is insensitive and rude to do something like that after games...? People have done stuff like that at rivalry/regular games since the dawn of sports. Get over it and quit trying to make things seem racist so you can get in the news.

I guess as soon as they see that the trollface.jpg is white they'll say it's turbo racism?

This makes me cry.

Person A: "You Mad Bro?"
Person B: "I'm offended."

~or~

Person A: "You Mad, Brother?"
Person B: "I'm offended."

WTF??

Bottom line:
Saying something is racist is an opinion. The reason I say that is because it's just like insults. Some people are more sensitive than others, while other people have a higher tolerance. I dunno.

And no I am not offended by any of this. What I said above was just an analogy.

The image above is from Meme Base's Rage Builder.

Do you get what I'm saying here?

Yeah, thanks for explaining. I agree with you, it is pretty ironic.

I hate racism!

...
...
...seriously? that's it? you're not going to elaborate?

CMON PEOPLE!

reverse racism is annoying, but the only thing more annoying are the people who say they hate racism, but have never actually seen a real instance of someone being racist. let me guess, you don't see people in the color of their skin as well?

(sigh) Here I thought somebody would disprove my cynical views of human nature, but you just confirmed it my friend.

forgot to do this earlier:

"Reverse racism" is racism, yes? So by saying this, you are saying that actual racism is more annoying than saying that you hate racism?

So what is exactly racist about this picture? I don't get it.

watch the video at the end of the game the winning team put up a banner that said "You mad bro?" and the black community went up in arms on them since apparently "bro" is racist

This reminds me of the time when in my chemistry class no one except me had any idea how to do what the teacher gave us and they all kept coming to me for help on it. After about the 7th person I asked, "Do any of you people even pay attention?" and some black girl across the room started raging at me on how, "you people" is racist.

...To who? I don't remember any stereotype of anyone saying "bro".

bro
[broh, bruh] â Origin
bro
â â[broh, bruh] Show IPA
noun, plural bros. Slang .
1.
brother.
2.
friend; pal; buddy.
Origin:
1830â"40; reduced form of brother

I still don't get it.

>.< Things like that are embarassing. It really makes you look bad. It's like a women who thinks that all men are evil and sexist. Its very annoying that some people who have never been racially attacked assume that they are constantly being racially attacked. It only makes them and the people who support them look ignorant.

Really? Personally I always thought of it as like a 60's-90's thing. You know, some random guy on a motorcycle or skateboard wearing a leather jacket going around calling everyone bro'. Or like surfer bro's, I never have seen it portrayed to any particular race...

If "bro" is racist other words will be deemed as racist as well:

Guy 1:"Cat."
Guy 2:"You can't say that."
Guy 1:"Why?"
Guy 2:"It's a hate crime."
Guy 1:"Oh OK :c...
