There's always the Battle Frontier. You can continue trying to get the gold emblems for each of the Frontier Brains. Personally I like the Battle Factory, Battle Tower, or the Battle Dome for hard challenges. Those are much more strategy oriented than some of the other facilities. Then, have you found smeargle in the frontier yet?

Because for most late teens/young adults, pokemon is that first love you keep going back to. The later generations or even the remakes are in no way the same as playing something so filled with nostalgia as your first pokemon game, or a game you particularly enjoyed.
/Only has Soulsilver, due to being poor as a kid/teen.
