A trailer for this game came out about a week ago. All it was was an elderly sounding man reminiscing about the simple pleasure of life, over footage of riots. After that was part of a NatGeo video showing a fungus called a Cordycep, which grows in and controls insects. Then we got a screenshot showing a jungle environment, and last we got a screenshot of a newspaper, talking about the fall of mankind. Yesterday at the VGA's, we were given this: Note that this is engine run footage, and that this game is PS3 exclusive.
So something like Dead Island? It depends on the actual gameplay if I get this or not, like if the character(s) you play as are in first person or third, or you can toggle that.

It'll most likely be third person, although I'm still not sure if it's linear or open world. As for gameplay, expect something along the lines of Uncharted.
I see. Well, that'll be good; I don't really like first person in these type of games. This somewhat reminds me of Heavy Rain for some reason, but if it's like Uncharted then that'd be really fun.
Well time to plug in my PS3 again. Those mutants are weird though. They have freaking corral reefs coming out of their heads. The world reminds me a lot of Enslaved, ruins of a large city, overrun by nature and what-not. So will this be a survival horror, or more of a shooter?

It does look like a good game reminds me of Left for Dead with the wierd zombies but also like another game which I forgot the name of where humans are fighting each other for survival.
