Does anyone else think that we need more active mods? Right now I would say out of all the mods there are only 2 or 3 that are active in cleaning up the forums and stuff. I know that it is hard to choose new mods but the mods that are active are going to kill themselves if they keep this up. Say AG got 2 or 3 new mods that could be active. Then there would be about 5 mods. These mods could work together to come up with a schedule so only 1 or 2 are working at a time. This way there would always be some mods that are active but they would not have to work overtime.
I am sorry, I am sure you are asking this out of genuine concern, but... Are we doing the job worse than normally or something? Is there more spam than there usually is? Do you get replies slower that usually? Something's got to be the reason why you bring it up, considering it's you bringing it up and not us mods discussing it?

None of this. You guys are just working overtime and never really get a break. I am just trying to come up with a solution so that your whole life is not on AG.

I think that if the moderators really wanted a break from armor games for a while, they would simply ask an admin. I understand that sometimes it may be necessary to allow perhaps one or two, at the most, more moderators to take charge but i think that they are doing an amazing job.
Because of the standerds of the site, moderators are allowed holidays away from the access of Armor Games. This means that they are probably very privallige to be working the hours that they are.

They are not working, they are simply volonteers. As a result, you can probably tell that they choose to do their jobs. They do not get payed so they can resign at any stage they want. So obviously, if they needed help then they would have a meeting about it. Unfortunately/Fortunately this is not within our grasps of controlling.
So you are saying that finding threads that are spam, looking for comments that are too short or pointless, and explaining something for the thousandth is not work.

I know that they can take breaks and holidays but some wouldn't want to. They really like this site and know that it would become a graveyard of spam if they didn't keep up with it.

I am pretty sure you know what i mean and trying to act smart with me isn't going to help the conversation. By working i don't mean that deleting comments that are against the rules ect, i mean that they don't get payed. Usually, 'Work' is referred to as getting a job and 'Job' is usually referred to as getting payed. Simply, moderators do what they do because it is thier choice to do it and they are not getting payed.

I understand that point, but i simply do not follow it. It is nice to have a break once in a while. Armor Games isn't meant to be a competition; Armor Games was created for fun, hense the Games part. I am sure that the Admin's understand the reasons that people need to take a break off their volonteering. They can still have fun on the site and still take time off moderating other users. Like playing the games that AG has to give for us all.
But with more mods this would be easier. Then there could always be at least 1 mod on when another is taking a break.
Yeah I think so too. In my opinion, there are some active AG users that know the site very well. (Ghost, nicho, jeol, although I asked jeol about it and he said no)

I think that Ghost would be the best option if there was a new mod. He seems to be really active and knows the site very well. Nicho would be my second option.
I think the forums and the game comments are being handling very well, even with the lacking of active moderators (Bravo to Cenere for his efforts in keeping the AG forums cleaned up!).
I don't think more moderators are necessary. When AG3 releases, there is probably going to be a reduction in the amount of moderators needed (from the current amount BTW). Also, I don't think that the site would benefit much from another mod.
Maybe an attempt should be made at contacting the current inactive moderators, like Gantic, Asherlee, NoNameC68, instead of running out and replacing them.
Again Cenere, I appreciate your personal efforts in helping to keep the forums and game comments spam free! Keep up the good work! =D
