An intellectual and a big voice on atheism has passed away. (April 13, 1949 â" December 15, 2011)

"Christopher Hitchensâ"the incomparable critic, masterful rhetorician, fiery wit, and fearless bon vivantâ"died today at the age of 62. Hitchens was diagnosed with esophageal cancer in the spring of 2010, just after the publication of his memoir, Hitch-22, and began chemotherapy soon after."

Rest In Peace, Mr. Wilson. You were a great debater, and someone who was open to all sides of an argument. If only people were all like you (not necessarily atheist), the world would be a whole lot of a better place to live.

Hitchens died, not Wilson.
