im a deluxe player, i only got it when i found out it was free. there is no way in hell i would pay for maps or extra weapons on a flash game. if any of u r tired of losing to deluxe players like me just take the free surveys on the earn deluxe page, after completion u will get free tokens to buy watever.

p.s - even without the deluxe weapons i was still a beast

This game is really fun when you get to a high level and you get the delux weapons and the weapons in the packs

I bought the 50 dollar option and bought premium for life and all the weapon pack and have to say that it was TOTALLY not worth the money. it ruined the game because Its almost not ever a challenge to beat people which is fun to have to try hard so i play as a guest most of the time.

That's not going to happen. The developer makes money from people purchasing things in game. If he didn't get a good amount of revenue then there wouldn't be Shell Shock Live, it would just be Shell Shock. The servers he uses to keep the game live cost around $1000 a month. That money isn't going to come out of nowhere, so he puts in premium content to make money.

He's also in the process of making Shell Shock Live 2, you can follow the development here. There's a section called Revenue Sources on that page, he mentioned watching five ads to get one tank coin, and it's optional to watch ads, so I find that reasonable. When SSL2 does come out I think he'll keep the SSL1 servers open, so that'll cost around $2000 a month so people can play.

Here's the thing, premium players should be separated from the normal players. Or normal players can't join a premium game and premium players can't get premium weapons in a normal game.

This splits up the community and would probably make a lot of people upset. Premium players don't get much of an advantage either; the weapons are basically the ones you have but fancier because they look and perform differently. I've faced a whole team of premium players with non-premium players and we still won. Having premium doesn't mean you're better than non-premium players. I also know premium players and would like to play with them. I'm sure if this idea was implemented KChamp would lose a lot of players, which I doubt he's willing to risk.

Besides, mixing in premium and non-premium players makes it interesting.
