Hi!I think this game is fantastic and the sequel is compulsory! But did you finish it? I did it with the warrior and I can say that it's a very good character, so don't think like some people do: "the mage is the best". Ok you like controlling elements, but I think that hitting enemies again and again is equally funny. Talk with everyone you see is a good idea (for example you'll open a quest called open season: finish it and you'll get 200 gold). Compare every item you find with the item you are using and don't junk it if you don't want it, sell it! Try to make your avatar and Rogan equally strong and combine your attacks. You should be able to win every battle, but if you're dying use a health potion immediately. Don't care if Rogan dies in a battle: he will respawn. I don't know if your avatar does the same. Don't always use the same type of skills, but check out the others and choose the one you think it's better. If an item requires a particular point of stats, upgrade them when you can do it, but don't use all your points just to usan item (do it just if the item is particularly good). Please write here what you think about this game and have fun!
Selling items is easier when you junk them first, because there's a button to sell all junk at once. In other words, you don't lose stuff by junking it. It's just stops cluttering your inventory.
If Rogan wins the battle after you die, you will respawn as well.
Since Rogan always is a warrior, I think it's better to play a different class, so you don't have to "fight" in the team for the best equipment.

It isn't necessary I put the best equipment on the hero. When I found an item stronger than the one I was using I put it on the hero and the previous on Rogan (for example I had ceremonial boots on the hero and Rogan had something I don't remember now: Then I found glacierfeet, that are better, put them on the hero and put ceremonial boots on Rogan.
I played as a rogue with a bow at first, and beat the game in one sitting. Very easy, but still fun altogether. Although, I dont see the point of a walkthrough if someone can beat it without dying once (besides the beginning fight).
Tip: Search through the entire map before moving, there might be a side path that opens a minor quest.
I've played all the classes, and the easiest seems to be an Archer Rogue. Massive damage per hit with concentration, easily hitting near 200 at the end. Use Slam with Rogan, then everything should go your way.
I used the same class as nichodemus archer rogue is great and you can use daggers too so I think rogue are the best class. mage I have tried and I don't like it. the mage has a VERY weak attack so I found my self relying on rogan and the undead you can summon far too much. I haven't tried warrior because whats the point if rogan is one.

To have two tanks absorbing and dishing out damage whilst stunning enemies. Mage is quite fun, I managed to beat the game at Level 8. Put just one point into the undead, and dump the rest into spells. Damage still is pretty weak though.
I've played with the warrior and the mage, but I prefer the warrior. You can use a skill Rogan hasn't: I don't remember the name, but it's very powerful (-308 with a simple skeleton) and it can decapitate the enemy.
The mage's best part is the elemental tree. The necromancing isn't worth it. The summoned "eople" are as dumb as your opponents. I don't know why you have low damage with a mage? Some spells like freezing and lightning have really high damage. Freezing your opponent, though, also shields him from 50% of your damage while frozen.
@the summons: Yeah, until you get to the Demon and he's firing off all your best spells and throwing status effects all over the place. The skeleton's worth little more than a meatshield, the spirit is decent, but the demon's where it's at. Get the passive buff that makes your summons stronger (a total of 5 skill points to get both the demon and that buff) and summoning him at the right time = instant win. In fact, you can get him with zero risk by using Rogan's mass-stun attack on turn 1, and if that works the enemy's flat-out boned.

Decapitate. It does that to a simple skeleton because it's supposed to 1 hit KO all non-elite monsters.

Damage range? One more down side is that such spells cost mana and cooldown time. A melee or range attack doesn't.
Did you notice that there are pieces of a glacial equipment but you don't find them all? I found glacierfeet and permafrost armor. And what did you find?

Helm and possibly a sword if that was included. I got many pieces of sets towards the end, but it's hard to make a complete set.
Necro mage is so underpowered. Could finish the game with hard but in the end had to redo many fights(includind last boss) because you depend on the summon so much that if it gets stunned or focused you will run out of mana fast and you will have no damage. Also incredibly dependant on rogans slam(aoe stun) and if all enemies resists it its pretty much game over.
For laughs i tried to do last fight with legendary and its impossible. The enemy resists like 80% of stuns( never ever out of like 10-15 tries did my summons or rogans slam stun both of them) and you will die the next turn cause your summon takes a turn to become active and the enemies will kill it before. Some issues with mage are that it appears as if the death hex only applies to physical damage, not magic and the arcane shield also only block physical damage. They have no synergy with your demon summon or against the casters.
Warrior seemed very overpowered to me when i finished it first with normal. Even though decapitate(last skill in battle tree) "only" crits if the enemy is elite it did like 300 damage to the last boss and i finished in 3 or 4 turns, due to my normal auto attacks and other skills dealing tons of damage too.
