Which do you think is better why? I think m60 is better. If you equip big ammo, then it is a 200 bullet clip without any reloads. Thats what i like the most
Most machine guns take quite a while to reload, slow you down, and barely do any damage close up in video games - since people will mostly use smg's and shotguns close up you won't have enough time to shoot them with enough bullets to kill them. But I'd rather use the stoner as it's similar to an assault rifle, you can just add extended mags for about 60 rounds in a mag and it does a good amount of damage. It doesn't slow you down as much either. For Black Ops of course, I haven't seen the stoner in any other game.
I feel this is a slightly uninformed string, with the exception of stephenking, for the M60, people keep thinking that you can actually use such think as big ammo, that is not possible. The M60 will for one, have the barrel overheat, jam, and possibly explode. Two: if you fire the M60 for too long, even if you take off the trigger, it can keep firing, wasting ammo. There are numerous other faults, like the "quick change" barrel, but I won't get into those.
The STONER 63 (to which I assume your referencing to when you say STONER) on the other hand is a far superior weapon, just ahead of it's time. Like all guns, it does jam occasionally. It can be clip or belt fed, and also, it has a very unique feature. The STONER 63 isn't just an LMG. The creator of the weapon, Emanuel Stoner decided to venture the idea of components. What this leads to is a far superior weapon that can be disassembled and reassembled as an assault rifle, an LMG, or a sniper rifle. Therefore, a superior weapon.
Stoner: -5.56 Caliber -750-900 Rate of fire -Small Mag
Personally, I'd go with the Stoner as it fires faster and doesn't take very long for it to reload. They both have almost the exact same barrel length so the distance would not be very different either. The Stoner is lighter, so it would be a huge advantage.
I think the stoner is a better gun because of the fact u can manuever easier and the is lighter. Sure, the M60 Has a ton of ammo in a magazine, but it takes painfully long to reload. So unless u plan on spray-n-playing I would suggest the Stoned.
