my first question is what defines spam, i know the dictionary definition but i'm saying is "good game" or "loved it!" or even "keep up the great work" spam? and 2. is it the kind of spam that is reportable? cause if it's not something that's good i would like to know what i'm looking at to see if it's reportable for spam.
There's too much of it to report, just hit the little flag. It sends a message or something to the admins. Although, they don't really check it nowadays because they're working on AG3. But the mods always work to clear out spam in games. They do it everyday. They don't need you to report it to them because they know it's there. Spam like that is in every game. You just gotta let the mods do their jop.
- No "spamming" -- No advertisements, or referral links to other services. We also classify "spam" as short replies (usually fewer than 7 words) which do not contribute to a forum thread in a positive manner. Some forum threads expect short messages (like some forum games), but otherwise short messages are highly discouraged. Do not post for the sake of forum post count... your posts will be removed if we see you posting unhelpful or non-contributing messages just for points.
A good rule of thumb, because game comments above 7 words might be deleted anyway (we get pretty automatic when deleting stuff, and we are not going to count the words in all the comments): If I can ask "Why?" to your game comment, and I don't get an answer, it is spam.
"Good game." "Why?" "..." ^Bad.
"Good game. The various aspect of the gameplay felt nice in tune with the plotline." "Why?" "Because of the aspects of the gameplay feeling in tune with the plotline, you idiot." "Oh. Okay. ... Carry on!!" ^Good.
