In terms of movies (I don't care for comic books all that much), Iron Man wins for me, almost solely on the fact that Robert Downey Jr is one of my favorite actors. Shia LaBoof (that isn't how you spell his name, so don't try to be the movie culture hero by correcting how I chose to spell it) is a fine actor, but the whole Transformers concept is just too weird for me to grasp. A billionaire genius philanthropist building a robotic suit makes infinitely more sense than an entire race of talking robots that have the extraordinary ability to turn into cars.
i prefer iron man transformers made me bored out of my skull and... skin plus ironman is alot more realistic unlike giant robot space creatures from outerspcae just to fight over a cube the size of a human head where iron man is just trying to help people more than anything.
I liked both movies, but there's one little fact that puts Iron Man above Transformers for me... Iron Man is first to be 'invented', Transformers was only thought up much later. =)

Just saying, both are unrealistic; there's no measure to say that one is less realistic than the other.

"Well... realisticly speaking... one could really say that either of the two is realistic, but that would then probably sound surreal... so one should really actually say that taking the surreal factor in this realistic equasion, one might have to really compare the realistic to the surrealistic features of this REAL movie!" =)
Anyway... both are fantasy, bioth are good, but Iron Man is better, because he was invented first, like I said. And I actually thought of another reason he is better, he's alone where the Transformers have to be in a pack to stand against the bad guys! Iron Man is tougher and takes everything on by himself, HA! =D
If it's about which makes for a better film, it has to be Iron Man. But then again, if it is about which is more realistic, it has to be... Iron Man. Okay, so between Transformers and Iron Man, it has to be Iron Man.

I think Transformers is the best and suits all ages.Why?Here: -Children have figures to play with -teenagers, young adults and musicans can listen to them making dubstep whilst having sex -Elderely can watch the movies... with there grandchildren.
