1) someone could have deleted your comments at their profile
2) moderators could have deleted comments or forum posts because it was full with spam or it was a trolling post.

Quoted from the stickied thread (read it next time):

Help! I lost xAP!
Your comments, posts or ratings have been removed. This is usually done if the post or comment was not following the rules, or the rating has been found to have been done unlawfully to gain points.
This can also explain great amounts of AP being lost. And no, it does not matter to argue about it, if it has been lost through this automated process, it was because it was too short.

This happened to me too.

If none of the above are the case of why you lost action points, then it could be that if you rated/commented on games in a small time span than they may be removed. (this is what happened to me before)

action points

What is this, Fallout 3?

So what if you lost some AP? Suck it up and deal with it. It's not the end of the world. Had you lost say 5,000 AP, that would be something to complain about. A few dozen, maybe two or three hundred? Suck it up.

For the love of Thor, the question was answered.

If the question is answered, there is not a need to keep on posting in the thread with amazingly useless opinions. That's spam.
